The Opportunity:

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will support cybersecurity operations that protect systems, data, and missioncritical environments. You will help evaluate system security posture, identify vulnerabilities, assist with remediation activities, and contribute to security compliance processes. Your work enables secure system operations across client environments and provides handson exposure to cybersecurity engineering, RMF standards, and enterprise security best practices.

You Have:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, including in an academic environment
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including the OSI model
  • Knowledge of virtualization
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2027

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
