Job description

Uniswap Labs is a core contributor to the Uniswap Protocol, the world's largest DEX, with over $4 trillion in volume across 17 chains. It builds products that help millions access the protocol, including the Uniswap Web App, Wallet, and Trading API. Uniswap Labs is also the primary technical provider for Unichain, a DeFi-native Ethereum Layer 2 built to be the home for liquidity across chains.
When you join Uniswap, you become part of a team that's reshaping the way value flows on the internet.
This is a general-interest posting, and it's exactly what it sounds like: we hire exceptional engineers when we find them, not only when a specific req is open. If you're great at what you do and you want to build in crypto, we want to hear from you - even if no listed role matches you. Applications here are reviewed weekly, and when there's a fit we'll route you to the right team and level as part of the process, not restart you from zero.
We hire across our engineering pods - backend and distributed systems, frontend and product engineering, smart contracts, platform and infrastructure, security, and data - and across multiple levels of seniority. Tell us where you're strongest; we'll take it from there.
What you'll do
  • Ship well-tested production code used by millions, on systems that move real value
  • Own problems end to end - from requirements and design through release and operations
  • Work with a small, senior team that ships fast and reviews each other's work seriously
  • Work in person with your team at our New York headquarters

What we look for
  • Evidence of excellence in your lane, whatever that lane is: systems you've scaled, products you've shipped, contracts you've secured, infrastructure you've made boring
  • Strong fundamentals and range- we care more about how you solve problems than which tools you've used to solve them
  • Genuine excitement about crypto and DeFi - prior crypto experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • Able to work from our New York office

Nice to have
  • Anything you've built on or around crypto - protocols, contracts, tooling, integrations, or things we haven't thought of
  • Deep expertise with the technologies you choose to work with - we don't screen for a specific stack, and we'd rather see depth and taste than a keyword list
  • Open-source work, technical writing, or side projects that show how you think
  • Love for unicorns :)

Minimum full-time salary of $158,400-$259,000, depending on level. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.
Uniswap Labs' Full-Time employee benefits include company-paid medical, dental, & vision for you and your dependents, wellness offerings including a partnership with Equinox Fitness Clubs, 401(k) with 4% employer contribution, annual $1,500 education stipend, unlimited and encouraged time off, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, home office setup stipend for remote employees and daily lunches at NY headquarters (all benefits are subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility).
Uniswap Labs is committed to diversity in our workforce and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO). We provide employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability (including gender dysphoria and similar gender-related conditions), sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation (including actual or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, and asexuality), veteran status, military status, domestic violence victim status, reproductive health decision making or any other protected category. In addition, Uniswap Labs participates in E-Verify.
