Job description

Why We Exist and What We Do:

At Dr. Squatch (www.drsquatch.com), we're raising the bar on men's personal care with our line of natural, high-performance products. We're on a high-growth, fast-moving ride, continually introducing new product categories, launching into retailers nationwide, and growing internationally. We have been recognized and certified by Great Place to Work® multiple times, and we achieved status as a certified B Corp in 2023. We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!

About the Role:

Dr. Squatch is seeking a Commercialization Manager, Creative Product Launch to join our Product organization. This role will sit at the center of Product, Creative, Marketing, Packaging, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercialization to ensure all creative and artwork deliverables for product launches are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with launch needs.

As the Commercialization Manager, Creative Product Launch, you will manage the creative product launch pipeline, including artwork timelines, proofing, routing, prioritization, approvals, and final asset readiness. You will be responsible for creating structure across a high-volume creative process, ensuring cross-functional teams have clear visibility into priorities, deadlines, risks, and decision needs.

This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive project manager who can manage multiple creative workstreams at once, keep teams accountable, and help build scalable processes as the business continues to grow.

The Commercialization Manager, Creative Product Launch will report directly to the Associate Director, Commercialization.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits, based in Marina Del Rey, CA, that requires 3 days per week at Dr. Squatch HQ.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $100,000 to $125,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the creative product launch pipeline across new product launches, retailer programs, packaging updates, refreshes, bundles, displays, and other launch-related creative needs.
  • Own artwork timelines, routing, proofing, prioritization, and approval tracking to ensure creative deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Serve as the key point of coordination between Product, Creative, Marketing, Packaging, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercialization, ensuring teams have clear visibility into status, deadlines, risks, dependencies, and decision needs.
  • Lead creative launch meetings and working sessions to align cross-functional partners, resolve blockers, manage competing priorities, and drive next steps.
  • Manage proofing workflows by consolidating feedback, documenting approvals, tracking changes, and ensuring final artwork is routed to the right teams at the right time.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, process gaps, and risks within the creative pipeline, escalating or resolving issues as needed.
  • Partner with the Associate Director, Commercialization to improve creative launch processes, tools, timelines, and operating rhythms as the launch roadmap continues to grow.

About You:

  • 4–6 years of experience in project management, creative operations, commercialization, packaging, marketing operations, or a related role.
  • Experience managing creative, artwork, packaging, or launch-related workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders, priorities, and deliverables at once.
  • Strong understanding of creative routing, proofing, feedback consolidation, approvals, and final asset handoff.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Creative, Product, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercialization teams.
  • Able to create structure in ambiguity, identify process gaps, and drive teams toward clear next steps.
  • Strong communicator who can clearly summarize project status, risks, blockers, priorities, and decisions.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Experience with project management and proofing tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Ziflow, Notion, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong Google Suite skills, including Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
  • General interest in consumer products, health and wellness, personal care, and fast-growing brands.
