What is a full time Cozy Corner?

A Full Time Cozy Corner typically refers to a dedicated space in childcare centers, preschools, or early childhood classrooms where children can go to relax, self-regulate, or take a break from group activities. It is designed to be a comfortable and calming environment, often furnished with soft seating, pillows, books, and sensory toys. The purpose of a Cozy Corner is to help children manage their emotions and behaviors by providing them with a safe space. Staff may guide children to the Cozy Corner as needed, or children can choose to use it independently. This area supports emotional development and positive classroom management.
