Data Center Construction Cleaning Foreman
Georgia Cleaning Pros is seeking an experienced and dependable Data Center Construction Cleaning Foreman to lead cleaning crews and oversee daily cleaning operations on an active data center construction site.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction cleaning crews and assign daily work areas
  • Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and communicate production goals
  • Oversee rough, progressive, final and turnover cleaning
  • Ensure sensitive data center areas remain clean and free of dust, debris and contaminants
  • Coordinate cleaning activities around electrical, mechanical, server-room and other critical infrastructure installations
  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents and other trades
  • Inspect completed areas for quality and readiness for client turnover
  • Monitor employee attendance, hours, productivity and performance
  • Enforce site safety rules, PPE requirements and access-control procedures
  • Ensure employees follow approved cleaning methods and use appropriate chemicals and equipment
  • Maintain cleaning tools, equipment and supply inventory
  • Train new employees on safety, quality and data center cleanliness requirements
  • Complete daily reports, inspection checklists and other required documentation
  • Report safety hazards, damage, quality concerns and performance issues
  • Assist the cleaning crew when necessary to meet project schedules
Qualifications
  • Previous data center, construction or commercial cleaning experience
  • Previous foreman, supervisor or crew-lead experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of construction cleaning phases and final-turnover standards
  • Ability to work around sensitive electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to read work-area maps, follow schedules and document completed work
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend and climb stairs for extended periods
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to meet all project badging and security requirements
  • OSHA training and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred
Work Environment
This position is performed on an active data center construction site and may involve dust, noise, changing temperatures, stairs and uneven surfaces. Employees must follow strict safety, security, badging, confidentiality and contamination-control procedures. Required PPE must be worn at all times.
