If you enjoy designing precision sheet metal components, creating manufacturing-ready drawings, and working with SolidWorks in a hands-on manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

For decades, Scaletron Industries has been the industry leader in corrosion-resistant weighing and feeding systems used in water treatment, wastewater, chemical processing, semiconductor manufacturing, fire protection, oil & gas, biofuels, and other demanding industries. What You'll Do

As our Mechanical CAD Designer, you'll create accurate production drawings and support manufacturing by developing designs that move efficiently from concept to fabrication.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and Fusion 360
  • Create accurate 2D DXF drawings for laser cutting equipment
  • Develop detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
  • Design sheet metal parts for production
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product designs
  • Revise existing drawings and maintain engineering documentation
  • Ensure drawings meet company quality and manufacturing standards
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of 3D CAD design experience
  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks
  • Experience using Fusion 360
  • Experience creating DXF files for laser cutting
  • Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to work on-site in Plumsteadville, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous laser cutting experience
  • CNC machining experience
  • Experience with CNC mills or lathes
  • Manufacturing or fabrication background
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
