Job description

Job Summary:
Midwest Data Center is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to provide customer support for managed IT applications and services. The role involves installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, along with providing Level 2 support and attending training to stay updated on technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain IT applications and equipment
• Provide call in phone support service on all customer equipment and applications
• Provide Level 2 phone, email and on-site support to customers
• Assist in maintaining and responding to a 24/7 automated alarm alert system to include all managed IT services, including on-call rotation after probationary period
• Attend company sponsored regional conferences and training courses to stay current with new and emerging technologies
• Assume technical lead on customer installs, including but not limited to servers, applications, firewalls, backup services, switches, PCs, and physical networking
• Weekly site visits to multiple customer locations
• Preventative maintenance on all internal and customer IT equipment
• Additional duties may be assigned
• Overtime work may be required
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS degree in Information Technology, Security+, Network+ or equivalent experience
• Experience with Currently Supported Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Azure/Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V
• Working knowledge of SonicWALL firewalls
• Working knowledge of Ubiquiti/UniFi Networking gear
Preferred:
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Mac OSX
• Experience with Personal computer troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with Internet connectivity troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with Server configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Router, switch, firewall configuration and troubleshooting
