The Software Organizational Development Office (SODO) within the 76th Software Engineering Group (76 SWEG) is seeking a high-level Subject Matter Expert to bridge the gap between technical excellence and workforce strategy.
In this senior professional role, you will be the technical cornerstone of our organizational development efforts. You won't just be solving computer science challenges-you will be applying your expertise to how we recruit, train, and empower the next generation of software engineers. Your mission is to ensure that 76 SWEG remains a powerhouse of technical talent, equipped with the skills and resources necessary to dominate the digital battlefield.
Your Mission and Impact:
As the technical authority within SODO, you will have a direct hand in shaping the entire lifecycle of our workforce. You will serve as the organization's senior expert for computer science assignments, providing the technical leadership and project management acumen required to guarantee program success.
Your work will focus on:
- Driving Talent Acquisition: You will lead the technical side of our recruitment efforts, ensuring we find and hire the most qualified and technically competent professionals in the field.
- Empowering the Workforce: You will oversee workforce development initiatives, ensuring our engineers have the training and resources they need to stay at the forefront of the software industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain the appropriate Top Secret Security clearance
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Cyberspace Qualification in accordance with DoDM 8140.03
- Designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP)
- Drug testing designated position and subject to random testing for drug use

1. Knowledge of the theories, concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and materials of professional computer science, and knowledge of other technical disciplines to effectively apply computer software, software systems and computer hardware architectural theories, principles, and concepts to areas of responsibility.
2. Knowledge of the principles of planning, program management, and standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization.
5. Ability to research, evaluate, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely and economical solutions.
