Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Department: Enginnering
Reports to: Engineering and Quality Manager
Hourly or salary: Hourly

Summary/Objective
The person in this position will work within an engineering team to provide a quality engineered product from “door to floor” meeting customer requirements for quality and on-time delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Generate 3D Models and 2D Detailing for in-process drawings, fixtures and work holdings.
  2. Program components using Esprit Software.
  3. Coordinate process changes. Work internally or with suppliers to assist in the development of designs, tooling, fixtures and gages, etc.
  4. Assists in process improvements, capital installation and new process introductions.
  5. Serve as floor support to the Production department.
  6. Assist in the manufacturing feasibility, processing, and manufacturing exceptions to quotation opportunities.
  7. Daily Job Duties - Produces accurate and efficient 3D models, detailed drawings, manufacturing processes, programs to support manufacturing production floor, setup instructions, tooling packages, and ability to operate and perform first piece run off on CNC equipment.
  8. Uphold Century LLC safety standards and expectations.
  9. Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirement
  1. The ideal candidate would possess 1-2 years of CAD experience, 3-4 years of machine programming, and preferably Swiss Lathe programming experience.
  2. Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; plus 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  4. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  5. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.
  6. Must be comfortable using computers.
  7. Compliance to the Quality Management System, Safety Practices, and Management Operating System documents relative to your department.
  8. Support specific objectives and targets that support company goals and objectives.
  9. Responsible for meeting or exceeding requirements for cost targets within your functional areas.
  10. Comply with company rules and practices in compliance with the Employee Handbook.
  11. Comply with 5S housekeeping practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  12. Accomplish company and personal goals and objectives.
