JOB SUMMARY: Are you an individual who is dedicated to supporting families and ensuring safe, nurturing spaces for parent-child connections? Join SPCC as a Visitation Specialist and be part of a trauma-informed team that helps families rebuild and strengthen relationships through supervised visits by providing visit coaching and support. This is a dynamic role where you'll provide direct client contact services within client homes, the Visitation Center, or other areas within the community. In this role you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with community partners and be a part of maintaining a child-focused, trauma informed, family-oriented environment. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 35 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Supervise and coach parent-child visits at the center, in homes, or community settings
• Document visits in COMET and NYS Connections
• Provide case management, safety planning, advocacy, and referrals
• Communicate with caseworkers, therapists, and transport providers
• Deliver parent education and maintain clean, safe visitation spaces
• Attend court hearings and case conferences as needed
• Submit monthly statistics and participate in individual/group supervision
• Continuously engage in learning aligned with trauma-informed and reflective practices

• Intimate partner violence and/or parent education experience preferred.
WORKING AT SPCC: SPCC is committed to providing a trauma-informed, supportive, and inclusive work environment. We value flexibility, professional growth, and reflective supervision.
