What You'll Do

As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will:

  • Program a variety of CNC manufacturing equipment, including:

    • 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers

    • CNC lathes

    • CNC routers

  • Use CAD/CAM systems to convert engineering drawings and change orders into machine-ready G-code.

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Ensure all machine programs reflect current engineering revisions and specifications.

  • Program future production jobs while supporting active machining operations.

  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.

  • Inspect and evaluate production parts to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications.

  • Complete all required programming, production, and process documentation accurately and on time.

  • Support the design, construction, repair, and improvement of fixtures, jigs, and specialty tooling.

  • Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment as needed.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications

We're looking for professionals who bring:

  • 10+ years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong ability to read and interpret:

    • Blueprints

    • Technical drawings

    • Engineering documentation

    • GD&T specifications

  • Experience programming CNC machining centers, lathes, and related manufacturing equipment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision manufacturing.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of machining equipment, tooling, machine operation, and basic maintenance practices.

  • Understanding of safe manufacturing and workplace practices.

  • Ability to interpret technical information and production requirements.

  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used to create precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $66.00 per hour
