Job Description
The Religion Department seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Religion in Christian Theology. Expertise in environmental theology or Christian ethics is desired. A completed Ph.D is preferred, but late-stage ABD will also be considered. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in Christian systematic theology and ethics and his or her secondary field, as well as upper-level courses. An active research program is expected and required for tenure.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to all aspects of Hope's mission as a liberal arts college. Hope College is grounded in robust ecumenical Christian aspirations and strives for inclusive excellence.
