Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, incorporating developmental considerations and family dynamics to inform treatment planning.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions in various formats including individual and family therapy sessions, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.

  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to deliver multidisciplinary care that aligns with best practices.

  • Educate families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources available for additional support.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and continued professional education to stay abreast of the latest research and clinical best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on providing care exclusively to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. You will work closely with various age groups, understanding the complexities of their developmental stages, which is essential for crafting effective strategies to address their unique needs.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders among children and adolescents.
  • Strong skills in creating rapport with young clients and their families, providing a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
  • Comfort and proficiency in utilizing EHR systems for documentation and client management.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
