Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
Staff flight Instructors will assist the Chief and Assistant chief instructor in monitoring the progress of flight students and performance of the part time flight instructors. Unlike part-time instructors, who have limited availability and narrower job scopes, a full-time staff instructor can support critical operational, instructional, and procedural functions that directly impact student progress, instructor standardization, and program effectiveness.
Specific duties include:
โ€ข Monitoring & Reporting Student Progress in Flight Training Courses
โ€ข Student Training Stage Checks in the FAR part 141 courses
โ€ข Supervision and Development of Part-Time Flight Instructors
โ€ข Implementation of standard practices and procedures
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument.
FAA First/Second Class Medical
Salary
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university's resources.
