Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned customer service professional with deep experience in corporate client support to join our team in the chemical manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, order fulfillment, and issue resolution for our industrial clients across North America.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, in-person in Granite City at 1301 W First St., Granite City, IL 62040.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value corporate clients in the chemical manufacturing space.
• Manage the full order lifecycle, from order entry and confirmation to delivery and invoicing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, regulatory, and production teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and on-time delivery.
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, and disputes quickly and professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Understand and communicate product specifications, safety information, lead times, and inventory availability.
• Coordinate customer-specific needs including packaging requirements, documentation, and labeling in compliance with chemical handling regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, EPA).
• Maintain accurate customer records and interactions.

Preferences:

• Proficiency in English is required; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in customer support or service roles is preferred (but not required).
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in an office environment while managing multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
