Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking a dedicated Marketing Coordinator & Production Design Specialist to support our VP of Marketing & Brand Development in bringing our ideas to life.

The Role:

As a Marketing Coordinator & Production Design Specialist, you'll work closely with our VP of Marketing & Brand Development to execute diverse marketing initiatives. Think of yourself as the "go-to" helper - supporting all aspects of the marketing department while taking primary ownership of catalog production, seasonal flyers, print materials, and production design projects.

You'll help keep our catalogs, signage, and promotional materials organized, accurate, and on brand while supporting a variety of marketing projects.

Why Join Us:

  • Opportunity for Growth: We're not just expanding our business; we're growing our team. As we expand, there are opportunities for advancement and professional development. Your hard work won't go unnoticed here.
  • Make Your Mark: Your work matters. Every idea, every interaction, and every effort contribute to our success. You'll have the chance to learn, collaborate, and see the direct impact of your contributions.
  • Be Part of a Thriving Team: Our team is supportive, collaborative, and passionate about what we do.
  • Community Involvement: We love being part of each unique neighborhood we're located in. You're not just joining a company; you're joining a community.

Responsibilities:

  • General Marketing Execution: Partner with the VP of Marketing & Brand Development to see projects through to completion - no task too big or small!
  • Catalog Production: Maintain and update company catalogs using Adobe InDesign.
  • Print & Promotional Materials: Create and update flyers, menus, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Graphic Design Support: Assist the Creative Artist with overflow projects, revisions, resizing, and production work.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain design files and marketing assets.
  • Cross-Department Support: Assist with events, email marketing, donation requests, social media, communications, and special projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, preferred.
  • Driven, proactive, and ready to learn.
  • Team Player: Comfortable taking direction and jumping in wherever needed.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage revisions, proofing, and production schedules with accuracy
  • Responsiveness: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, communicate proactively, and respond to team requests in a timely manner during business hours.

Full-time position requiring 40 - 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is based on-site at our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center in Robinson Township, PA. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support events, promotions, content creation, community engagement, and social media monitoring.

What You'll Get:

  • Hands-On Experience: Tackle diverse marketing tasks and learn directly from experienced leadership in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
  • Growth Opportunities: Expand your role as our team and company continue to grow.
  • Fun Environment: Join a small, energetic team focused on execution, creativity, and community engagement.
  • Meaningful Impact: See the tangible results of your efforts on brand awareness and customer satisfaction.
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits: Enjoy paid time off, sick time, and access to benefits.
  • Professional Development: Advance your career in a supportive, dynamic work environment.
