Candy Shop Lead - The Last Bite
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Lead for The Last Bite Candy Shop. In this role, you will assist the candy shop manager and supervisor in overseeing The Last Bite Candy Shop.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll create a fun, welcoming environment by ensuring guests receive friendly service and helping them find products they'll enjoy.
Pay Rate: $14.50/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth service and positive guest experience.
  • Support and guide team members during shifts, including assigning tasks and providing coaching.
  • Step in where needed to maintain flow of business.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and company standards are consistently followed.
  • Help train new hires and support ongoing development of team members.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance, staffing, and any operational concerns.

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant/food outlet is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
  • Ability to constantly stand and walk, reach and grasp.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • This position regularly requires evening, weekend and holiday work.
