Job description

Security Command Center Operator - Full Time

Location: Bellevue, WA

Wage: $28.90/HR

Available Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 6:00am-1:45pm

At Securitas, on-site security officers are the foundation of our organization. Our officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

We are looking for an experienced Security Command Center Operator (SCCO) to join our team in Downtown Seattle. This position is responsible for finding, researching, and assessing information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. The ideal candidate should be able to create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client.

What You Can Expect

  • Monitor designated areas through exterior and interior cameras, promptly responding to potential dangers.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
  • Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
  • Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
  • Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders. 
  • Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
  • Provide detailed written reports and maintain and update all required tracking systems.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
  • Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer / technology skills needed.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
  • Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
