Veterans Security Operations (VSO) is a Veteran based private security company within Washington State. The second objective is to furnish proactive security solutions to our local communities, fostering their growth and prosperity. We are not just another security company; we are Veterans Security Operations.

Veterans Security Operations is seeking to increase our unarmed division to service our rapid growing portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security risks, ensuring the safety of people and property of your assigned post. This is a fast-paced position with some weekends required, so we're looking for an individual with experience in the security field who can handle stress well and remain vigilant under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incidents or criminal activity, whether on foot or in a vehicle.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence to deter suspicious or unlawful behavior.
  • Conduct regular patrols of client properties to identify potential threats or safety concerns.
  • Observe, identify, and report unusual conditions, activities, individuals, or vehicles.
  • Take reasonable and appropriate actions to protect persons and property.
  • Respond to and de-escalate conflicts or emergencies as necessary.
  • Address public concerns, complaints, or questions in a professional manner.
  • Escort unauthorized, disruptive, or trespassing individuals from the premises when required.
  • Complete accurate and detailed incident and activity reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure client safety and smooth site operations.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations.
  • Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (record required upon hire).
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned sites.
