Overview

Turner Staffing Group is hiring a Production Dozer Operator to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This is a key production role responsible for efficiently pushing, spreading, and grading material to support material movement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a bulldozer to push, spread, and grade overburden, ore, or aggregate material
  • Maintain consistent production rates while minimizing rework and material loss
  • Ensure proper dozing techniques to maximize efficiency and equipment longevity
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment
  • Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions
  • Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with haul truck drivers, dispatch, and supervisors
  • Maintain clean work areas, haul roads, and stockpiles, and assist with general production support as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating a dozer in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment
  • Strong understanding of grading, material handling, and production goals
  • Valid driver's license required
  • MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
  • Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
