Full-Time | $17.50 – $19.50/hour
About the Role
Braxton Brewing is looking for a skilled and adaptable kitchen professional who thrives in different environments—from our Fort Mitchell food truck to off-site catering events and large-scale pop-ups across Braxton properties. This role demands great communication, flexibility with scheduling and duties, and a sharp attention to detail. You’ll work closely with our Food Director and play a key role in delivering excellent food experiences wherever Braxton shows up.
Key Responsibilities
Food Truck Operations – Fort Mitchell
  • Handle daily kitchen operations including prep, line cooking, dishwashing, and proper opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintain consistency and cleanliness standards across all food truck service.
  • Manage inventory, rotate stock, and keep the truck organized and health-code ready.
Catering
  • Serve as catering lead, working with the Food Director to plan, prep, and execute off-site catering events at various Braxton properties.
  • Coordinate logistics including food transport, equipment setup, and timeline management.
  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met in non-traditional kitchen environments.
Off-Site Events amp; Pop-Ups
  • Help oversee setup, teardown, and general operation of Braxton’s pretzel pop-ups and other large off-site events.
  • Represent the Braxton brand with professionalism and energy during public-facing events.
  • Adapt quickly to varying event formats, locations, and team structures.
Schedule amp; Hours
  • Average at least 20 hours per week, with additional hours available based on the event schedule.
  • Weekends are generally required. Typical shifts range from 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
  • Off-site events may require extended shifts of up to 10 hours, including setup and clean-up.
Compensation
  • $17.50 – $19.50 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications
Required

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in varying conditions (indoor, outdoor, truck).
  • Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Preferred
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory kitchen role.
  • Familiarity with catering logistics and off-site event execution.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent.
