Full-time book of business transition, 4-6 year timeline

About the opportunity:

We are a well-established independent financial advisor practice looking for a motivated, seasoned advisor to join our team with a clear path to owning and operating our existing book of business. This is a rare opportunity for the right person to step into a thriving practice, build meaningful client relationships, and take full ownership over a structured 4-6 year transition period.

If you're an experienced advisor who is entrepreneurial at heart, values long-term client relationships, and is ready to build something of your own - this role was designed for you.

Build trust with existing clients and expand the practice through referrals and networking

Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Requirements

What we're looking for:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed financial advisor

Demonstrated track record of client retention, growth, and relationship management

Strong self-motivation and the drive to work independently with minimal oversight

Genuine interest in eventually owning and operating an independent financial practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you build trust naturally

Current and in good standing with all applicable licensing requirements

Nice to have:

CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation - strongly preferred and considered a significant asset

Experience with financial planning software and CRM platforms

Existing professional network or demonstrated ability to source new client

Benefits

What's we offer:

A clearly defined succession plan with full ownership transition over 4-6 years

Competitive compensation structure tied to book performance and growth

Mentorship and knowledge transfer from seasoned advisors committed to your success

Flexibility and autonomy in how you manage and grow your practice

Ready to take the next step?

If you're an experienced, self-driven advisor looking for more than just another job - this is your chance to build something lasting. Send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and your vision for your practice to dave@meifinancialgroup.com. We look forward to a confidential conversation.
