Locations are in Contra Costa County, Fresno County, Modesto County, Placer County and Sacramento County
Total of 11 locations (majority are in Contra Costa Co)

Annual Salary: $80,000-$85,000 DOE
 
Generations Healthcare is seeking a Traveling Business Office Manager to support the majority of our Norther California skilled nursing and behavioral health facilities. This is a supportive role which works closely with the Corporate AR Team to serve as interim Business Office Manager (BOM) for company facilities with BOM vacancies. Responsible for independent oversight of business office functions and day-to-day accounting functions when acting as interim BOM. Must adhere to all company policies, government regulations, and cost reimbursement principles. This position also assists with special projects, health plan payer resolutions, training, analysis, and audits.
 
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; BA degree is preferred.
  • Speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
  • 2 years of Business Office Manager experience in Skilled Nursing/Post-Acute setting.
  • Experience with billing Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Managed Care & Coinsurance. 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing & long-term care billing and collection practices and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Ability to have flexible work hours.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
  • Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented.
  • Skilled in directing and motivating business office personnel.
