BOM Analyst-Engineering Support
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America (YCENA) is a company located in Grand Rapids, MN that designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network.
OVERVIEW:
BOM Analyst-Engineering Support will support product development and current production to meet customers' needs and project objectives. Compile and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing product offerings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Utilize ERP system to process changes to multi-level machine Bill of Material to support EC's (Engineering Changes)
โ€ข Support projects related to new products and redesigned products by preparing Part number setup and BOMs for products to support YCENA business
โ€ข Reconcile the BOM with the design engineering part list prior to release into production
โ€ข Prepare and maintain supporting documents in MS Excel
โ€ข Assist with the BOM creation for future and current Y-gate programs
โ€ข Coordinate document corrections with engineering
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
โ€ข High school diploma plus demonstrated database experience within a manufacturing environment. Associates degree in a technical field or a field related to database management preferred.
โ€ข Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are required.
โ€ข Problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
โ€ข Personal computer skills include but are not limited to: MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and Lotus
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
โ€ข Requires a high level of attention to detail
โ€ข Must have strong organization and communication skills
โ€ข Requires expertise in Microsoft Office products

This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 6% of base earnings.
