Carnegie Mellon University's department of Mechanical Engineering is searching for a Research Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by assisting with data collection and analysis using biomedical instrumentation and signal processing as well as literature review and summarizing key papers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data collection, including biomedical instrumentation
  • Assist with data analysis, including signal processing
  • Assist with literature reviews, including summarizing key papers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-1 years of experience:
    • Entry level research experience, including basic understanding of instrumentation and
      software.
    • Experience with Signal processing, Matlab programming, spreadsheets, statistics
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
