JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position requires a full-time Biomedical Equipment Technician II who would be responsible for providing repairs and preventative maintenance for our client's biomedical equipment. The individual in this role is required to maintain records, document service and coordinate service within their department. This individual is expected to have strong electromechanical skills. This is a fulltime, fully benefited position.

  • Inspection, assessment, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment and medical devices per manufacturers’ recommendations as well as established guidelines for use in both a shop and clinical environment
  • Responsible for general and various types of medical/patient care equipment, including life saving/support devices
  • Complete assigned work orders in a professional and on-time manner


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • An A.S. degree from an accredited school in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering, or DOD certification or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years’ experience servicing biomedical medical equipment
  • Previous experience with Sigma Pumps preferred
  • Strong communications and organizational skills
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
