Role Overview
Fanatics is seeking a Manager, Strategic Finance, to join our expanding Finance team. This role will play a key part in driving forecasting, financial performance reporting, strategic analysis, and analytics for the Fanatics Ecosystem. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role with the ideal candidate combining financial and analytical rigor to drive financial insights while collaborating closely with business leads to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage key monthly and annual financial processes for the Fanatics Ecosystem including performing in-depth results and forecasting analysis and maintaining underlying financial models.
  • Support monthly P&L review and month-end close in partnership with Accounting and FP&A.
  • Partner cross-functionally with business leads to review monthly financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to support business growth and decision-making.
  • Prepare recurring management reporting and business review materials that translate results into a clear narrative for senior leadership.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc strategic analyses to evaluate key investments and growth initiatives across the Ecosystem commerce landscape.
  • Collaborate with analytics to track and report key operational KPIs that enable the business to meet financial goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and automate recurring financial workflows, including leveraging AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency and reporting speed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, with a track record of owning models and recurring monthly processes end-to-end.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data tools (Sigma, Tableau, SQL/Snowflake) and financial systems (Oracle or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn financial analysis into a concise narrative for senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage recurring deliverables while supporting ad hoc requests.
  • Self-starter who operates well with ambiguity in a fast-moving, evolving environment and taking ownership without being asked.
