Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists in coaching during athletic events, including practices and games. The position would primary work with pitchers' instruction, supervision, and schedule.
• Assist in preseason, and post-season training, practices, and games; may be assigned to work with a specific group of student-athletes on a regular basis.
• Assists in scouting and recruiting activities
• Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NJCAA rules and regulations and complies with the same. Assists in briefing student athletes and monitoring adherence to the above.
• Works with Athletics sports medicine and strength and conditioning personnel and/or with third-party medical groups including but not limited to physicians as needed to implement team wellness and conditioning programs.
• Works with student-athletes and monitors their adherence to rules and regulations concerning conduct, appearance and punctuality.
• Assists in event management, facility maintenance and upkeep, and other baseball-related events as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director.
Required Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree or five years of professional/collegiate/high school baseball experience
Required Experience: Intent to work in the field in student-athlete support services and experience in the related field.
