A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAGE MAIN BANK CASHIER
As a Cage Main Bank Cashier, you are responsible for ensuring that the Cage Main Bank functions smoothly throughout your shift. This position is responsible for the physical custody of the assets of the Cage including cash, chips, coin, and other cash equivalents. You would also be responsible for providing support to the Cage Cashiers assigned to your shift, so you and the rest of the Cage team can provide each of the employees and guests of Indian Head Casino with assistance in a supportive, courteous, and efficient manner.
With attention to accuracy, you perform customer service functions for both internal and external customers ensuring all transactions are recorded and completed correctly. You identify areas for improvement and work with the Cage team to implement those improvements, ensuring adherence to company policy and written procedure. With confidence, safeguard the bank roll during your assigned shift to ensure every transaction is accurately processed and all regulation requirements are completed. You engage your love of details by ensuring that all required forms are completed, that jackpots are paid accurately, and that all standard procedures are adhered to.
Your interpersonal communication skills come into play as you assist employees and guests in navigating tribal and federal gaming regulations and guidelines. Eager to learn and improve your own knowledge, you participate regularly in continuing education and apply the latest best practices to your work.
You are knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. You love playing an integral part in the success of a company that provides fantastic value and also gives back to the community!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CAGE SUPERVISOR
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of Cage experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act preferred.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to submit to a drug screening and background check upon hire
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a high-security gaming license
  • 21+ years of age
