Job description

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Avionics Engineer. The B-2 Avionics Engineer provides avionics engineering support for modernization, integration, sustainment, and test activities on the B-2 platform and for advanced weapon systems within AFLCMC’s Fighters & Advanced Aircraft community (Bombers Directorate and F-35 Program).

This is a full-time position located on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Dayton, Ohio.

***Contingent Upon Contract Award***


• Provide avionics engineering support for communication, navigation, mission, and flight control systems.
• Support requirements development, system integration, and verification activities.
• Review contractor designs, analyses, and test data.
• Support lab, ground, and flight test activities.
• Assist with deficiency analysis and corrective action development.

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen 
Clearance: Must posses and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibility 
Education: ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Avionics, or Systems Engineering
Years of Experience: Minimum 12 years of avionics engineering experience, preferably on bomber or complex aircraft platforms
