Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist who enjoys building strong teams, supporting clinical excellence, and delivering outstanding resident outcomes.
As Director of Rehabilitation, you'll oversee the daily operations of the rehab department while working collaboratively with therapists, nursing leadership, physicians, and facility administration to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Support and mentor a multidisciplinary team of PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, and SLPs
- Coordinate therapy services to promote efficient scheduling and continuity of care
- Monitor clinical quality, documentation, regulatory compliance, and department performance
- Collaborate with facility leadership, nursing, and physicians to achieve resident care goals
- Assist with staff development, onboarding, and performance coaching
- Help drive positive clinical outcomes and operational success

Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist license required (PTA candidates with leadership experience are also encouraged to apply if permitted by state and facility requirements)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care
