Brigham-Gill Village CDJR is looking for an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk (AP / AR) to join their amazing team.

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $25-30/hr
Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Code and post vendor invoices, issue checks, post receipts, and manage customer accounts.
  • Cash & Sales Reconciliation: Balance cash drawers, process credit card settlements, reconcile bank deposits, and post sales schedules.
  • Schedule Reconciliation: Maintain and clear assigned accounting schedules (trade-in payoffs, factory receivables, inventory).
  • General Ledger & Month-End: Assist with monthly journal entries, schedule postings, and month-end financial closing preparation.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate financial records, address vendor inquiries, and support the Controller with administrative projects.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience in new car dealership
  • Proficiency with automotive DMS platforms (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion) and MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Basic accounting principles (GL, AP/AR, debits/credits) and dealership operations
  • High detail orientation, accurate data entry, organization, and strong communication
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
