A team of highly skilled technicians delivers installation, commissioning, programming, and project management services across diverse environments. Role Description This full-time Audio Visual Technician role is an on-site position located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The technician will install, configure, and test audio visual systems, including projectors, displays, lighting, audio equipment, and video conferencing solutions in corporate, educational, and commercial spaces. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting AV system designs, routing and terminating cables, mounting and aligning equipment, and performing system commissioning and basic programming support as needed. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, collaborating with project managers and other technicians to meet project timelines, and ensuring all work meets company quality and safety standards. The technician will interact with clients on-site to provide clear communication, training on system operation when needed, and a professional representation of Advanced Lone Star AV. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including installation, configuration, and integration. Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving AV, connectivity, and equipment issues. Experience with Video Conferencing platforms and hardware used in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. Hands-on knowledge of Lighting systems, including control interfaces and environmental integration. Practical experience installing and aligning Projectors and related display technologies. Ability to read AV schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction plans; basic understanding of networking concepts is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work safely with hand and power tools in on-site environments. Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working directly with clients and team members. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AVIXA/CTS or manufacturer-specific certifications) or equivalent experience are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
