Job Description Summary
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the programming, maintenance and operation of all audio, video components, and lighting assets in respect to all entertainment formats.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Program, operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventative maintenance (such as cleaning) for intelligent and conventional lighting systems. Execute lighting shows in collaboration with musical performers exercising discretion and judgment to ensure maximum entertainment value.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventative maintenance (such as cleaning) for audio systems including the casinos music and paging system
  • Program, operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and provide preventive maintenance (such and cleaning and replacement) of all video service to include projectors and TV's in various casino and hotel zones.
  • Assist with entertainers load-in and set up of equipment.
  • Choreograph effective sound checks maintaining casino' standards for both quality sound mix and volume control.
  • Train marketing and floor supervisors for appropriate volume control in various casino and hotel zones.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with audio and lighting hardware and software vendors. Process service requests for approval, Obtains estimates for purchases following currently established purchasing procedures. Complete purchase requisitions, as needed, for approval.
  • Inventories lighting and audio equipment before and after each performance for reconciliation purposes.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a minimum of three years of hands-on professional experience as an audio/visual technician for major entertainment productions
  • Must have demonstrated technical expertise and knowledge of major entertainment production and technology, including analog audio mixing and equalization equipment and Light Jockey intelligent lighting software.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, computer literate, the ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer relation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ยฝ mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to work in a "lighting subdued" environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
