The practice encompasses 27 neurosurgeons, three physiatrists and performs more than 8,000 surgeries each year. This globally recognized group directs the Neurosurgery Residency Program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and serves more than 21,000 patients per year.

As one of the largest private group practices in the US, BBS is looking for a Patient Services Specialist to join our Location! In general, the Patient Services Specialist will:
  • Prepare front office for daily activities.
  • Warmly greet patients, guests, vendors, and visitors
  • Ensure that all patient paperwork, demographics, and insurance information is up to date and correct.
  • Collects co-pay if necessary and issues receipt.
  • Notifies physician office and/or clinic staff of patient arrivals.
  • Maintains accurate and timely patient information in Athenaone and Phreesia databases.
  • Answer telephones and transfers caller to appropriate staff member
  • Help create an extraordinary patient experience!

EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred but we are willing to train.
