Job description

The Role

We're seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer to join our team as a forward deployed resource embedded at AT&T's headquarters in Dallas, TX. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge security technology and enterprise-scale deployment, serving as a dedicated technical resource in Global Workplace Solutions Shared Services supporting AT&T's Global Physical Security infrastructure.

What You'll Do
  • Work with various AT&T stakeholders to help deploy, manage, and optimize physical security systems at enterprise scale.

  • Serve as the primary HiveWatch technical resource on-site, collaborating daily with AT&T's Global Real Estate, Global Security, and relevant IT teams and business unit stakeholders.
  • Provide consultative oversight regarding the design and implementation of physical security integrations across cloud-based access control, video management systems, visitor management platforms, and other physical security technologies.

  • Help troubleshoot complex technical issues spanning multiple security systems to facilitate interoperability and connectivity to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). 
  • Provide technical expertise and training to AT&T's end users and stakeholders.
  • Assist with documentation of system configurations and integration workflows.

  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhanced operational efficiency.
What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing physical security systems in enterprise environments
  • Deep technical knowledge of modern physical security technologies:
    • Cloud-based access control systems, mobile credentials, biometrics, turnstiles, etc.
    • Cloud and hybrid video management systems and associated camera infrastructure
    • Visitor management systems and integration to access control
    • Integration platforms and APIs for physical security systems
  • Proven track record of large-scale system deployments and migrations
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and integration methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a customer environment
  • Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to work on-site full-time at AT&T headquarters in Dallas, TX and travel to job locations as necessary

Preferred:

  • Experience with security operations center (SOC/GSOC) workflows and incident management
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and network security concepts
  • Experience working in forward deployed or embedded customer roles
  • Background in law enforcement or corporate security operations
Location & Work Environment

This position is based full-time at AT&T's headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This is an in-person role requiring daily presence at the customer site. Some travel will be required.
