Job description
- Lead instructor for labs to plan and execute instructional delivery patterns for each class meeting.
- Know the Learning Management System (LMS) platform and Publish Digital platforms for assigned courses.
- Troubleshoot technical and digital material issues with Publisher representatives and university IT representatives.
- Monitor student progress on achieving learning goals and grade assignments/assessments.
- Supervise multiple laboratory sections in PHSL-P261 and establish standard laboratory protocols and routines to be followed by adjunct/lab instructors.
- Order lab supplies and equipment
- Hold in-person office hours in line with current College and University guidelines.

- Master's degree in biology or related discipline or Master's degree in another discipline with 18+ credit hours of upper-level Biology and ancillary science courses (e.g., chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in teaching lectures and laboratories at the undergraduate level
- Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds (for laboratory setup and preparation)
- Experience teaching and supervising Anatomy/ Physiology courses and labs at the undergraduate level
- Experience working underserved students in STEM
- Experience in assessing and revising courses
