We are a premier general contractor specializing in self-storage and retail developments. Our focus on quality and client satisfaction has established us as a leader in the industry. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in delivering successful projects.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, from planning through completion. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects.
  • Support the management of project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Communicate regularly with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Help monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status and issues.
  • Assist in the resolution of any on-site conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to support project activities.
  • Aid in the preparation of project closeout documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
