The Audience Development Supervisor will be responsible for providing excellent service to guests visiting the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's.
Job Responsibilities
- Increasing ticket sales revenue for Delta Classical concerts, Family Series concerts, Goizueta Stage for Youth and Family concerts, and ASO memberships.
- Increase group and corporate sales engagement and ticket sales.
- Maintain an excellent level of customer service for group and corporate sales patrons.
- Provide new marketing strategies to help achieve departmental goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle for group and corporate contacts including but not limited to initial contact lead generation, ticket reservations, face to face meetings as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service for clients and sales prospects to nurture and ensure repeat attendance.
- Assist in booking special events, corporate receptions and room rentals.
- Communicate programmatic information and provide superior customer service to groups of 10 or more to increase single ticket sales across all series.
- Maintain relationships with existing group customers via outbound phone calls, personal visits, presentations, direct mail and email.
- Solicit net new community groups, companies, and associations for group sales lead generation
- Assist with exponential growth of existing group memberships
- Serve as ASO representative at concert events in rotation with other Sales/Marketing staff.
CRITICAL ELEMENTS:
- Cultivate Relationships with existing Corporate, Group sales, and Membership patrons.
- Outside Sales Calls scheduled and Cold Calls at a minimum of 2 days per week
- Identify sales prospects and prepare presentations and proposals for Sales Calls
- Represent the ASO at selected conferences, trade shows and networking events.
- Create and distribute email offers for Corporate Partners and Sponsors
- Work with Sr. Director to build annual sales plan to achieve sales goals, including target audiences, detailed marketing and sales strategies and tactics.
- Assist with marketing initiatives including direct mailings, email, text message campaigns, event planning, and inside/outside sales call execution.
- Process incoming Group Sales and Corporate Sales communications and requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong Sales-oriented skills and attitude including the ability to make cold calls and close sales
- Excellent presentation, organization and planning skills
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems
- Self -starter who takes direction well
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent computer skills include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ticketing systems or Ticketmaster a plus
- Event Planning experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational ability
- Evidence of personal investment in ongoing professional development
- Firsthand knowledge of Atlanta's philanthropic, business, and arts communities
- Knowledge of and passion for live music performance and music/arts education
