Automotive Apprentice Technician
Our service departments are built on efficiency, quality, and customer care - and our Apprentice Technicians are right at the center of it.
We're looking for a motivated Apprentice Technician who wants to grow in the automotive service industry. In this role, you'll perform essential preventive maintenance services quickly and correctly, keeping our customers' vehicles running and our service lanes moving. It's an excellent starting point for someone looking to build a career as a full service technician.
Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services accurately and in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Inspect and replenish all vehicle fluids; check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
  • Document all work performed on the repair order and communicate any additional service needs to the service advisor.
  • Keep customer vehicles clean and notify the service advisor immediately of any changes to the vehicle's condition.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay current on technical bulletins.
  • Maintain all dealership-owned tools and equipment; keep shop area clean and organized.
  • Comply with all hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, and applicable safety regulations.

Requirements
  • No prior experience required; a background in automotive service or a related technical field is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
