Job Title: Application Support Engineer Contract Length: 6+ Months On Site Work Location: Pasadena, TX 77505 Ref# 247064 Will support Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) application environments. This role is responsible for deploying, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining server-based applications across on-premises and Azure environments. The engineer will support application lifecycle activities, cybersecurity compliance, infrastructure maintenance, system monitoring, and platform modernization initiatives while ensuring high system availability and operational reliability

Key Responsibilities Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support server-based applications within OT and business network environments. Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows Server environments. Provide design, testing, implementation, and lifecycle support for application platforms and infrastructure projects.

Troubleshoot application, server, and infrastructure issues while identifying root causes and implementing resolutions. Support Azure-hosted infrastructure and application environments. Maintain system documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, information management policies, and risk management requirements. Perform operating system and application patch management. Support software licensing, asset inventory, monitoring, and lifecycle management activities.

Participate in application deployment, upgrade, migration, and modernization projects. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable and secure application platforms. Required Qualifications Experience supporting and troubleshooting server-based on-premises and Azure applications in Operational Technology (OT) and business network environments.

Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments. Experience providing design, testing, and implementation support for application platform deployments, lifecycle initiatives, or customer-facing projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document infrastructure and application environments. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and security concepts including Purdue Model, air-gapped networks, and Zero Trust. Experience with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and system maintenance. Experience supporting VMware ESXi, vCenter, and VxRail virtualization environments. Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server, Azure, or related technologies. Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or similar distributions). Experience administering infrastructure while maintaining cybersecurity standards, information management, and risk compliance using tools such as Tenable Nessus, Tanium, or equivalent.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). m
