Your Role: Marketing Intern - US Farm Animal (Summer 2027)
As a Summer 2027 US Farm Animal Marketing Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Farm Animal Commercial team delivering on a highly impactful business project to help elevate the US Farm Animal Commercial organization.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Define, execute, and deliver on an assigned marketing project, partnering with cross-functional teams to gather insights, evaluate opportunities, and develop recommendations.

  • Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to better understand business needs, market dynamics, and customer perspectives relevant to your project.

  • Apply data, research, and business insights to support marketing strategies and identify opportunities within your assigned area.

  • Track project progress and outcomes, refining your approach based on findings and feedback throughout the internship.

  • Present your project findings, recommendations, and potential business impact to relevant US Farm Animal leadership.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: Currently enrolled in undergrad studies in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture Education (or related studies)

  • Experience: Experience with farm animal health or livestock or agriculture industry

  • Top Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person, and through presentations. Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and leadership.

  • Bring a strong interest and enthusiasm for agriculture

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision

  • Ability to make decisions within the context of uncertainty and ambiguity

  • Have a customer-focused mindset

Additional Information:
  • Travel: Regular travel required in conducting customer visits via car

  • Location: Field-Based - Various locations throughout the United States
