Job Description

The Front End Developer is primarily responsible for acting as a liaison between the backend services team, Quality Assurance, and Business Analyst teams to build prototypes, design new pages and modules for Maestro Health's online product solutions.  Strong ability to execute and optimize new and existing HTML, JavaScript and Angular.js code is required.

  • Develop complete front-end projects using HTML/SASS, JavaScript and Angular.js.
  • Design and implement UI solutions for our platforms
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, designers and analysts to provide solutions that meet business expectations
  • Follow adopted style guidelines
  • Cover all functionality and fixes with unit tests
  • Integrate front-end UI with backend services
  • Participate in estimation discussions and provide accurate estimates on new work

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of web development experience
  • Fluency in front-end technologies/patterns including, but not limited to: JavaScript, HTML, CSS (SASS)
  • 1+ year(s) of Angular 1.x experience
  • Experience with Responsive Design using bootstrap and integration with REST services
  • Creating and executing front-end unit tests
  • Experience with Ionic.io or front-end tooling such as Gulp (or Grunt), Bower and Grunt tasks like minification, CDNfy, etc. is a plus
  • Full stack development experience is a plus
  • Understanding and experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Identify solutions that take into account efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Ability to remove roadblocks through creative problem solving, negotiation or conflict management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written skills
