Overview

We are looking to hire a professional to join the SEO department of our agency in Madrid. We are seeking someone with experience in the industry and a desire to take on new challenges in the field of digital marketing, specifically in search engine optimization (SEO). The ability and experience to work on multiple projects simultaneously will be valued, as well as the capacity to plan and manage international-level SEO projects in coordination with the different areas and teams involved.

  • Manage and execute large-scale SEO projects for international clients, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and timelines.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and overall website performance.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content and landing pages, including metadata, headings, internal linking structures, and other on-page SEO elements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using relevant tools and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Content, Paid Media, Analytics, Development) to ensure integrated search strategies.
  • Support and manage One Search initiatives, aligning SEO and SEM activities to maximize results.
  • Coordinate and maintain client communication, presenting insights, recommendations, and project updates.
  • Manage Local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and performance monitoring.
  • Support off-page SEO activities, including link-building, outreach, digital PR, and authority-building initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities

We are looking for someone capable of managing large national and international accounts within the SEO field. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management, execution, and ongoing analysis of large-scale SEO projects, working with major international brands.

Education and Experience

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience.
  • High proficiency in French is mandatory for this role (C1 level or equivalent).
  • Experience in client management: planning, direct communication, preparation of presentations, daily client management, as well as strategy development and market/competitor research.
  • Demonstrable SEO knowledge gained through experience in a digital marketing agency, including development, implementation, and monitoring of SEO actions.
  • Proven on-page SEO knowledge, demonstrating the ability to optimize a landing page from a search engine perspective (titles, meta data, H1, internal linking, etc.).
  • Experience managing combined SEO/SEM projects within One Search optimization strategies.
  • Experience in international SEO.
  • Experience measuring and reporting on SEO campaign performance.
  • Local SEO experience (Google My Business).
  • Knowledge of off-site SEO techniques (link building, outreach & engagement, PR actions).
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the industry, metrics, best practices, and the latest trends in SEO.
  • More than 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist.
  • Strong command of local SEO strategies.
  • Knowledge of Drupal. Experience with other CMS platforms (WordPress, Magento, Shopify, etc.) will be valued.
  • Analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients/digital projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using tools such as SEMrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics (preferably with knowledge of Google Analytics 4), Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
  • Experience and knowledge of GEO and optimizing brand presence in LLMs (Large Language Models).
  • Must be autonomous, versatile, resourceful, and able to adapt to constant market and environmental changes.
  • Experience in e-commerce optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
