Local Class A CDL Driver - Level I

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00/year with Weekly Guarantee for FT $1,000 Sign-On Bonus thru May 20, 2026

WHAT YOULL DO:

Haul Amazon loads in late-model Amazon-Branded tractors on regional routes; Full-time = Flexible schedule, Part-time = Pick up work as you desire

WHAT YOULL LIKE:

You Make the Schedule: Work any day that you would like. Level 1 Drivers run scheduled and/or incremental load board and shuttle work.

Earn More: Opportunity for overtime. You determine your additional salary! Plus occasional Seasonal bonuses, Safety bonuses, and weekly / monthly / quarterly incentives.

Opportunity for Full-Time: Try it out before fully committing. Our part-time flexible people often make this their full-time job by moving to Level II and Level III positions within 3-6 months. However, many full-time flexible people love the flexibility of Level 1.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A | 21+ | Clean MVR, PSP/DAC report & valid DOT physical
  • 6+ months OTR or 1 year local experience (Newly-Licensed candidates may qualify for apprenticeship training after required road test)
  • Pass pre-employment background check & drug screen

What's Expected

  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • English fluency & Proficiency with ELD/smartphone apps; Comfortable using tech (iPhone preferred)
  • Knowledge of HOS requirements & safe nighttime driving practices
  • Be coachable with a positive attitude
  • Must pass driving evaluation: lane management, turning, coupling, be SKILLED at backing & maneuvering

You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.
