Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Compliance Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access in accordance with site procedures, including directing drivers to designated check-in and staging areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
