Job description

Roberts Design is looking for an Interior designer to join their studio on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate would hold a bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture and have 2-3 years of experience working on commercial and high-end residential projects.

Job requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an interior design or architectural environment
  • Holds a degree in architecture, interior design, interior architecture, or related field
  • Work on projects through all phases of design
  • Work with Senior Designers as part of the Design Team
  • Ability to coordinate with project construction teams
  • Manage multiple jobs at one time
  • Procurement, purchasing and order tracking
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
  • Client, Vendor & supplier liaison
  • Assist in Installation & onsite FF&E delivery
  • Comprehensive knowledge in drafting interior design drawing packages including finish plans and material specification, schedules, RCP, and electrical plans
  • Prepare and maintain project files, correspondence, drawings, etc.
  • Create and continually update spec sheets as needed
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solving skills

  • Assist with office management tasks
