Job description

**Oncology APP Opening – Coastal Oregon**
Located in Coos Bay, OR
Bay Area Hospital, a 127-bed Level III trauma facility and the largest hospital on Oregon’s Southern Coast, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join its expanding Oncology service line. With a regional catchment area of more than 320,000 residents, this role offers the chance to practice meaningful, patient-centered cancer care in a collaborative and community-focused environment.
**About the Position**
* Full-time, day shift schedule
* Four 10-hour shifts per week
* No nights or weekends
* Paid call, shared equally
* Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults
* Work within the Bay Area Hospital Cancer Center, an OHSU Knight Cancer Network member
* Comprehensive oncology services available: radiation therapy, chemotherapy, infusion services, nurse navigation, in-house pharmacy, radiation oncology, lab onsite
* New 19-chair infusion suite and a highly skilled, collegial nursing and infusion team
* Collaborate with oncologists and an experienced APP team
**Candidate Profile**
* Strong clinical acumen and commitment to evidence-based, compassionate oncology care
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
* Comfortable working independently while actively participating in a collaborative care environment
* Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic outpatient setting
* Physical ability to meet the demands of the role (walking, standing, assisting patients, infection control measures)
**Compensation & Benefits**
* Average salary: $135,626.50 (for experienced full-time providers)
