Local 669 Sprinkler Fitter
Work Description
As a Service Sprinkler Fitter, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair fire protection systems in both existing facilities and retrofit projects, ensuring systems remain fully operational and code compliant.
Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems
  • Perform repairs to existing sprinkler systems, assessing impairments, and determining corrective actions
  • Interpret and follow sprinkler system blueprints; recommend adjustments for site-specific needs
  • Fit and fabricate pipes on-site when required
  • Operate hand, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with crew members and foreman; occasionally work independently
  • Train and mentor assigned apprentices
