Job Description

Overview:

  • Plan loads to customers based on order quantities, maximizing trailer utilization and minimizing costs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up delivery appointments for loads planned
  • Set up customer pick ups
  • Cut bills for all loads
  • Communicate with logistics all outbound loads and delivery times

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English
  • Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
  • Knowledge of quality standards - both ISO and QS
  • Qualified Shipping Forklift Operator, one year experience as a Forklift Operator preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency preferred

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit.
  • Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Work space is not climate controlled and can reach both hot and cold extremes (30 degrees - 110 degrees Fahrenheit).
